The past 2 weeks we have been looking at the maori instrument (Purerehua), We have been looking at the width and the length

Rope:1.8m
Rimu:19.5cm

Weight of rimu: 3kg

Step on how to make a purerehua
  1. Measure length and height of the plank on wood
  2. Cut corners of your piece of wood, with bandsaw
  3. Sand your wood to make all corners smoother
  4. Use the sander to hallow the rimu
  5. Drill the hole on top of your rimu to put your string in

Today we finished our purerehua (Rango), (Bowfly)
