Today in reading we read the story in our books then we saw what they looked like then we had to carry on with today's work and yesterdays work together
so this is a little bit of the story
Hinemoa was a young woman who lived with her family
at Owhata, on the shores of lake Rotaroa. All the young men in the area had heard about her beauty and wanted to meet her.
One of these men was Tutanekai a brave warrior who lived on Mokoia Island with his family came to a Hui. When Tutanekai saw Hinemoa for the first time he fell in love with her. Hinemoa saw Tutanekai and she fell in love with him, as well.

Today in reading We heard about Romeo and Juliet they were in love without there parents knowing they got married without anyone knowing it is a love story. it is an old story It has a happy ending but sad at the same time it has a little bit of a Trogic ending.
Great work Nate. I like how you summarised the stories. I am interested to read your thoughts on how these stories are similar. I remember in reading today you were shocked at how sad Romeo and Juliet was. what shocked you the most?
