My Hands on fire

Aim: To listen to the teacher instructions while using safe practice in the science lab

Hypothesis: There will be flames coming from ur hands

Equipment: 

1. Bunsen Burner Tube 

2. Gas

3. Dettergent

5. Water

Method: 


1. Put some water into a container and Squirt in some Dettergent

2. Connect the gas hose to the taps and make gas Bubbles in the water

3. Rub cold water on your hands, wrist and up to your elbows 

4. Scoop up the bubbles in the container into the palm of your cupped Hands.

5. Stand with your hands reaching out in front of you. Your palms and bubbles facing up

6. Light Your hands

7. DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME SERIOUSLY!!!!!

Safety: If you want to stop the fire you can open your palms and drop the fire to the floor.

Results: I thought It was scary at first I had Butterfly's which is when your stomach starts to play up but your not sick but then as soon as he lit it, It was cool as But as soon as I got lit with it I stayed with the fire for 4 seconds it gets hot at 2 seconds.

How to start a Bunsen burner

1. get a fire proof mat and get the Bunsen burner

2. place the fire proof mat and the Bunsen burner on together

3. put the rubber tube into the gas tap 

4. turn it on 

for the last step you have to light the top of the Bunsen burner

5. light the top of the Bunsen burner
